Claude connector

Build and change your CodeSky apps from Claude

Connect your CodeSky account to Claude and ask it to create a project, change one, read its files, roll back a version or open its preview. Claude works with your account, your projects and your credits, and nothing else.

You need a CodeSky account and a Claude plan that supports connectors.

Connect

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Design

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose “Add custom connector”.
  2. Enter the server URL below and press Add.
  3. Press Connect. Claude opens the CodeSky sign-in; sign in if asked, check what Claude will be allowed to do, and press Allow.
  4. In a chat, turn CodeSky on from the tools menu and ask, for example: “List my CodeSky projects.”
Server URLhttps://mcp.codesky.ai/mcp

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first.

Claude Code (terminal)

claude mcp add --transport http codesky https://mcp.codesky.ai/mcp

Add the server, then run /mcp inside Claude Code and choose CodeSky → Authenticate to sign in the same way.

Prefer an API key? Create one in CodeSky under Settings → API keys and add --header "Authorization: Bearer sk_…" to the command.

What you allow

The sign-in page lists what Claude asks for. You can approve or cancel; nothing is shared until you press Allow.

  • projects:readSee your projects, files, versions, credit balance and previews.
  • projects:writeCreate projects and build with AI. This spends your credits.
  • projects:destructiveOverwrite files and restore earlier versions.

The connector can never reach billing, payments, your password or security settings, your team, or other API keys.

There is no deploy tool. Every change Claude makes is recorded in your project’s version history and can be undone; publishing stays in CodeSky, where it is a deliberate step.

Credits

Creating or changing a project with the connector costs the same credits as doing it in the CodeSky app. Reading projects, files, versions and previews is free. Ask Claude to “check my CodeSky credits” at any time.

Disconnect

  • In CodeSky: Settings → API keys, find the key named after the app (for example “Claude (connector)”) and revoke it. Claude loses access on its next request.
  • In Claude: Settings → Connectors → CodeSky → Disconnect.

Your data

  • Claude receives only what a tool returns for the request you made, such as a project list or a file’s contents. Anthropic handles that data under its own terms.
  • The connector server stores nothing: no files, no prompts, no tokens. Each request is passed to the CodeSky API with your key and the answer is returned.
  • Connecting creates an API key on your account (valid 30 days and renewed automatically while you stay connected). CodeSky keeps a hash of it, never the key itself.

Troubleshooting

“Not signed in” or “token was rejected”
The key was revoked or expired. Disconnect and connect again in Claude.
“This API key has read access…”
You allowed read access only. Reconnect and approve building as well.
A build is refused
Ask Claude to check your credits. Top up or upgrade in CodeSky under Billing.
“Too many requests”
The connector limits bursts to protect the service. Wait the number of seconds shown and try again.

Support

Ask Claude to “report a problem to CodeSky” and it files a ticket with the details support needs, or email us.
